As a baker you have a right and duty in Tezos Governance process. Voting for new feature is an important step for Tezos growth.

Five Steps to remenber :

Proposal 

Any baker can made a proposal. Many proposals can exist at same time and Baker need to vote for them

Exploration 

Bakers vote on the proposal ( yay / nay / pass )

Cooldown 

Testing Time. No Vote during this step.

Promotion 

Bakers vote on the proposal ( post-testing ) ( yay / nay / pass )

Adoption 

Bakers need to update binairies to be prepare to update
